Tools for thoughtful agent work

Give agent work a clear path

Take work from request to PR with Harness. Keep reviews moving on GitHub with Inspector.

mstar / harnessmstar / inspector

Two tools. Clear responsibilities

Plan and track delivery in your coding tools. Carry review context across GitHub PR rounds.

Workflow engine and agent plugin

Morning Star Harness

From request to a reviewable PR

Describe the work to a project-manager agent. A workflow engine and role skills guide specialists through planning, implementation, independent review and acceptance in dsh, omp, OpenCode, Cursor, Kimi Code, ZCode or Codex. Local state keeps progress with the project.

Keep project state in local SQLite

Once activated, .mstar/store.db is the source of truth for issues, roadmap and workflow state. Plans and review reports stay in the harness directory.

See progress in a project dashboard

View issues, workflows, iterations and roadmap in a read-only dashboard on this machine. Search issues, read their history and see trends; make changes through the CLI.

Bring the same tools into MCP

Connect MCP-capable coding tools to issues, roadmap and workflow operations. The stdio server uses the same validation and permission checks as the CLI; loading depends on host configuration.

Manage delivery with the CLI toolkit

Use mstar-harness to manage issues, roadmap and workflow state, run checks, and launch the dashboard or MCP server. Explore command inputs with --help and machine-readable schemas.

For your pull requests

Morning Star Inspector

Keep context across PR review rounds

Self-host isolated agent reviews for GitHub PRs on Cloudflare, with unresolved findings carried into the next round.

Choose when reviews run

Review on first open, every push, or manually. Authorized users can trigger another round by mentioning the bot.

Run reviews in isolation

Each review runs in a one-shot Cloudflare Sandbox container that is destroyed after execution.

Carry findings forward

Re-check unresolved findings against current code and discussion, then update the same overall PR comment.

Configure each App independently

Manage multiple GitHub Apps from one deployment, each with its own BYOK, model chain, and encrypted credentials.

One approach, from delivery to review

Harness provides delivery workflows, role skills and review methods, backed by local project state. Inspector connects those reviews to GitHub, handling triggers, isolated execution, and publication.

Plan with intent

Morning Star Harness

Clarify scope and define acceptance before implementation. Keep plans, responsibilities and decisions with the project so you can resume from recorded progress. Role skills also support code audits and PR reviews.

Deliver with structure

Morning Star Harness

Run a focused plan or a multi-plan iteration through implementation, independent review and acceptance to a merge-ready PR. Engine checks advise by default; opt into blocking where the host supports it.

Review with context

Morning Star Inspector

Bring Harness review methods to GitHub PRs. Revisit unresolved findings as code changes, without losing the conversation between rounds.

Use either tool on its own. Inspector runs the Harness plugin in its sandbox through an agent runtime (currently omp); no local Harness installation is required.
